Experience
I previously worked as a Student Counsellor at BIMM and a Community and Wellbeing Counsellor at Brighton YMCA. I have quite a varied work experience background which includes: - working as a qualified Careers Adviser, Learning and Participation Adviser and Volunteer Coordinator.
I am a registered member of BAATN (The Black African and Asian Therapy Network).
I am also a qualified and registered Member MBACP (Accredited) of BACP. Therefore, I adhere to its ethical framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy.

I am also an EMDR therapist, therefore, I am experienced at working with trauma. I completed the required EMDR part 1, 2 and 3 training, which qualifies me to use this approach with clients.
I am a Member of EMDR Association UK & Ireland and attend regular EMDR supervision with a highly experienced accredited EMDR Clinical Supervisor/Consultant and Practitioner.
